It’s no secret that football is just math disguised as a game.

If you stop to think about it, every ground pass travels along a path that is either straight or curved; a panenka is nothing more than a parabola in slow motion, and tiki-taka is known as “the dance of the polygons“! Even a football field serves as a geometry lesson since the white lines that define the penalty box, corner area, and other areas on the field create figures of all different sizes and shapes.

Given your improved awareness of the countless similarities between football and arithmetic, we at BYJU’S have decided to add one more. BYJU’S has released an exciting online game called Math Cup to commemorate the FIFA World Cup, where students like you may score on and off the field and earn rewards along the way!

Isn’t that amazing? Learning math is no longer restricted to classes and tuition. The great game can now be used to improve your math abilities as well!

There are five levels in the game’s training module: World Class, Professional, Amateur, and Legendary. Correctly completing math problems, earning points, and developing new talents are the only ways to advance through each level. By doing this, you can be confident that you have solid skills in both football and math.

Your team’s strength will increase as a result of these abilities, and as you defeat other players, your position on the leaderboard will rise. Therefore, remember to track your points each day!
